Vice President Joe Biden to Travel to Latvia, Turkey and Sweden

On August 22-25, 2016, the Vice President will travel to Riga, Latvia, Ankara, Turkey and Stockholm, Sweden.
While in Riga, the Vice President will participate in a summit with the leaders of Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania. He will also participate in bilateral meetings with President Raimonds Vējonis and Prime Minister Māris Kučinskis of Latvia. The Vice President will also deliver a speech to the Baltic people.
While in Ankara, the Vice President will meet with President Erdogan and Prime Minister Yildirim to discuss the U.S.-Turkey relationship and a range of issues of importance to both nations.
While in Stockholm, the Vice President will participate in a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Stefan Löfven as well as attend a meeting on energy security.
